Randall Avers

I entered the Naval Academy with the Class of 1975 as a 17-year-old out of Moline, Ohio. (Good luck finding that town.) After graduation I taught sailing, coached 150# football, then went into the nuclear submarine program for five years. After the Three Mile Island incident in 1980, I thought I would try my hand at dentistry. Twenty-two years as a Navy dentist, thirteen more as a VA dentist and thirty-five pounds later, here I am trying to help myself as well as the worthy causes supporting the charities of this event.
